July 4 Fast
Cambridge. Right on Memorial Drive. Brought banners, passed out flyers. Great beginning of fast. Women are still fasting. Linda who couldn't make it today is on day 20 of her fast. Others are doing a weekly fast. The fast will continue until September 21st for the International Day of Peace.

International Day of Peace
Helen Kallacut (sp?) is coming to Boston on Sept. 21st. Perhaps we can do something with her. She will be speaking at Harvard at the Divinity School in the morning. She will have a free lecture at the Boston Public Library at seven. A committee was suggested by Sue to plan this.
• Possible press release

The Declaration of Peace
Seventy percent of the people in the United States are opposed to this administration's policies. Everyone is encouraged to do one thing to take action for world peace. Nonviolence training can go along with this. Training will be next Sunday from one to five. 2161 Mass Avenue. Corner of Mass Ave and Milton Street. American Friends Service Committee.

Grannies and Girls
Grannies are getting ready to appear at recruiting stations and high schools. Some CodePink members are willing to go to the action.

Articles of Impeachment
A few CodePink chapters have done work on articles of impeachment. There are teach-ins. October action is possible. Increasing interest in impeachment. Democracy Center is a possible site for this action.

The Future of CodePink Boston
Members discussed what if any focus the group should have.

Leadership Changes
With Sally's departure, Arianna is our webmistress. Amanda is helping with administrative events. Alison is handling the account.

CodePink Retreat
Sally's grandmother is funding two members to go to the retreat in August on August 24th. The retreat will last until August 27th,

Account
CodePink Boston debated the topic of membership dues. Dues would be $25 dollars per quarter or whatever members could afford.

Male Involvement in Code Pink
Mixed feelings surrounding male involvement in CodePink. No consensus.
